When Starfinder was first released I created a lot of homebrews of the various Mass Effect races. I figured I would share them here for people to use, as well as get some advice on tweaks for them.

I am aware that the Krogan is a bit strong, but I hope that the ability score penalties would help balance that out somewhat.

I am also aware that Geth having construct immunities may be potentially unbalancing. As well as the teamwork feat ability, thought hat only matters if you are playing with backwards compatibility.

Anyway I'd be glad to hear any thoughts on changes that should be made to make things more balanced, or be a better representation of the races.

Having looked through, the penalties overall to all but the last two races are a bit extreme. With Starfinder's altered ability score buying most races average a +2 overall and having higher bonuses doesn't mean much since abilities cap at 18 level 1. Having negatives in SF is solely to push a few more positives since you can't gain points for lowering stats.

Comparatively, the Krogan I'd move closer on par to the Vesk, Asari with Lashunta (just based on the provided abilities). None of their abilities seem particularly unbalanced IMO. Most of them can be seen elsewhere between the Alien Archive and Pact Worlds. Fix base stats to be more in line and honestly I'd say things are pretty good. Maybe ditch the Krogan Strength because it raises questions about Krogan Soldiers, and between their racial mod and a d8 level 1 headbutt they're pretty intimidating. You could even probably change the headbutt to 1d6+1.5 times level like many of the Alien Archive natural attacks.
