Eldritch Scion Bloodline powers

Rules Questions

I've been looking, and can't find an answer (or even if it's been asked / clarified). Does the activation of one's bloodline power cost 1 or 2 Eldritch Pool points?

Under "Bloodline," it says"To use any ability that normally functions when he's in a bloodrage, an eldritch scion must spend 1 point from his eldritch pool." However, under "Eldritch Pool," it says, "As a swift action, he can spend 1 point of eldritch energy to enter a state of mystical focus for 2 rounds. This allows him to use abilities from his bloodrager bloodline as though he were in a bloodrage, though he gains none of the other benefits or drawbacks of bloodraging." So, do I spend a point to enter a Mystic Focus, then another on the next round to use a bloodline power (that can now only last for one round, because you can only spend one point per round)? Or is the phrasing referring to the same Eldritch Pool point?

I really, really want to like the Eldritch Scion. But it's so poorly written. I almost feel as though it would have been better done as a variant class (a la Samurai or Ninja) that mixes Fighter and Sorceror, rather than Fighter and Wizard, than as an archetype.

If this has been answered elsewhere, can someone shoot me a link? Also for any other Eldritch Scion fixes, FAQs, etc.

You stopped your quote from the Bloodline section two words early. The next two words were "(see below)".

That's to indicate that it's not giving a full explanation of how it works in the Bloodline section, and the mechanics are in the Eldritch Pool section.

It costs 1 point.
