Hi everybody! This is my PFS chosen one paladin, a farm boy thrown into the fight against evil when he finds a sword and a small animal starts talking to him. He's a really fun character to play and is pretty quickly becoming one of my favourites. However, I have an issue with his choice of familiar once it gets to reveal its true form.
True Form (Ex): At 7th level, a chosen one's familiar reveals its true form, transforming into an outsider improved familiar that matches the chosen one's patron's alignment (typically an arbiter, a cassisian, a harbinger, or a silvanshee, but potentially any lawful neutral, lawful good, or neutral good outsider familiar depending on the patron). The familiar gains the change shape universal monster ability if it doesn't already have it, which it can use at will to transform into its original form or back to its true form.
Tupp is a katana wielding follower of Shizuru a LG deity with swordplay in her portfolio and a katana as her favoured weapon. It all fits well with Tupp's character, since he's obsessed with swordsmanship (he even calls his attacks to make it all seem that much more impressive) and comes from Tian Xia. However, my problem is that the only true form I can find is the harbinger, and that doesn't seem to fit at all with my character.
My question is, are there any more options for a LG outsider familiar other than a harbinger, or is there a similar deity to Shizuru who has a NG alignment? If not, how would you think I can make a harbinger more fitting for a magical girl boy character?

Kurgess is a NG deity that might work for your character. Kurgess is all about physical development and used to be a farm boy prior to becoming a god. So, it's somewhat reasonable.
Alternatively, for your familiar you could pick a Cassisian, which is basically an animated helmet.
Those are the only things I could find. It's a shame Lantern Archon isn't on the list, they're amazing.

Thanks for the suggestions, folks! Unfortunately, I'm not sure either of those familiars work because Cassisians are NG and Wysps are N. It looks like I'll have to either live with a Harbinger, or change deity. Kurgess might work because of the farm boy thing and the competition aspect could work with his desire to become the best swordsman and natural showmanship... Although, that might mean a change of weapon and possibly fighting style.
Hmm, I'll have to ponder on it for a bit...

in the description of Cassian it says that you have to be LG in order to take one as a familiar. It's weird that they themselves are listed as a NG creature. One of these two statements is clearly a misprint.
Given that it's an angel and not an archon. Most likely the description about them being familiars should probably say Neutral Good not Lawful Good.
