Would help if you quoted the two different traits, but as I'm full of unnecessary knowledge I'm still able to give my verdict.
Brevoy Bandit allows you to add another ability modifier to your Profession checks, and Orphaned grants you a +2 bonus.
While neither trait states that it is a trait bonus, your GM is in his/her full right to rule that they shouldn't stack.
Many traits grant a new type of bonus: a “trait” bonus. Trait bonuses do not stack—they’re intended to give player characters a slight edge, not a secret backdoor way to focus all of a character’s traits on one type of bonus and thus gain an unseemly advantage. It’s certainly possible, for example, that somewhere down the line, a “Courageous” trait might be on the list of dwarf race traits, but just because this trait is on both the dwarf race traits list and the basic combat traits list doesn’t mean you’re any more brave if you choose both versions than if you choose only one.
From my own interpretation, I'd allow them to stack. I'd treat the Orphaned bonus as a trait bonus and the Brevoy Bandit as an untyped modifier, since the language of Brevoy Bandit never states that it is a 'bonus'.

yeah I should have listed the traits! this is my first ever post sorry!
Widowed: The murder victim was a lover. With your lover’s death, a part of you died as well, leaving you haunted, grim, and prone to dark musings. You gain a +2 bonus on Intimidate checks.
I understand and fully support the GM gets final say rulings, I was more interested in what the consensus would be with rules as written and what opinions on the subject would be?
