Buffing a...Golem?

Advice

So I'm going to build a Golem soon. Not optimized but my DM is pretty cool so I can probably tinker with it a bit as the game goes on.

But in the more Immediate sense, question. Golems are immune to spells that have Saving throws(Yes each one has their own small spell list that does effect them but broadly).

However what about non damaging spells? Can you buff a Golem with your spells? Or in my case, could I buff a Golem with Extracts? Or is tinkering and upgrading the golem all I can do?

And if I can buff a Golem, what kinds of spells would you suggest looking into?

Silver Crusade

Basically, the Golem's immunity is unbeatable spell resistance. If the spell ignores SR, they can be targeted.

Liberty's Edge

Golems are immune to any spell that offers Spell Resistance - which is basically everything except the Conjuration school, and even then that's only some spells are safe there. I guess technically you could Mage Armour a golem, but that seems very strange! :)

Okay so I would have to go down the list of spells to see what could or couldn't effect the golem outside of the spells listed in their Entries.

This actually does help me figure out which golems to consider making.
