What is your favorite archer class?

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

Just asking out of curiousity, What classes do people prefer to play as when they play archers? There is so many options and I want to know what archer class people like the most!

Elrritch Archer Magus archetype, hands down.

You won't be able to compete with a ranger or fighter in terms of raw archery damage but what you get in return is the ability to do awesome control/utility/buff stuff while holding your own as a solid (if not outstanding) archer.

Wanna trip people? Wanna pull rillme spell entanglement shenanigans to slow the enemy's approach?? Wanna cast a buff on the tank? You can do all that stuff and shoot people with arrows ON THE SAME turn.

Sure you'll have those turns where your party face palms because the enemy passed his save and you missed apl your shots in one turn because maguses specialize in sucking way multiple things at once. But when you succeed it's absolutely glorious. Not to mention the play style is so dynamic that it's hard to get bored. There are a surprising number of clever tricks one can pull off.

Grand Lodge

Nature Fang druid. 9th level casting, bonus feats. The options of either the eagle/feather domain or an animal companion.

The build has everything.
