So how bad is the Onmyoji???

Advice

I kind of want this more for flavour reasons. The extra spells are nice though.

Probably going Kitsune(would be for PFS).

I'm making a Kabuki type character. :)

So my question is how much of a downgrade is it compared to the regular Spiritualist if at all?

Thoughts on other archetypes? I'm not really considering any others but more for personal interest if I ever make another Spiritualist. Thanks. :)

It isn't too bad..
but are you wanting it because its a spiritualst?
or are you wanting an Onmyouji like thing ? (well the stereotype media version)

Moving spells between lists can be potent if you choose carefully.

I want to play a spiritualist. I like the Onmyoji mainly for the visual of using the ofuda while casting, with the spells from the cleric list being a bonus. I'm not otherwise terribly familiar with Onmyoji beyond what I've read in the entry. However, I think it fits with the Kabuki theme I'm going for.

Now one thing I though of is that a psychic caster won't have any problems casting in fox form while the Onmyoji will as a divine caster. Granted the Onmyoji won't have to deal with emotional issues when casting.

I think I can get around the casting in fox form with a feat. I just can't remember what it is at the moment. :(

Damn Natural Spell is only for wild shape.

Does anyone know of any other way to cast in animal form with a divine caster?

Without using metamagic?

Otherwise I think I'll go standard Spiritualist and carry some Ofuda just for visual effect. ;)

Thanks. :)
