cleric aura

Rules Questions

What type of Aura am I able to detect if my deity's alignment is true Neutral? Not sure how this aura ability work. If my deity was good then I could detect evil like a Paladin?

Aura (Ex)
A cleric of a chaotic, evil, good, or lawful deity has a particularly powerful aura corresponding to the deity’s alignment (see detect evil for details).

It means you give off that kind of aura. Generally, most people, good or evil, don't detect as good or evil unless they are higher level. Outsiders, like angels or devils do. Clerics and paladins have stonger auras and detect much more readily.

You can likely find the chart under the detect evil spell.

It makes you more easily detected in most cases (not if your god is true neutral), and if you get the sacred summons feat you can summon some monsters as a standard action.

Ahh ok so it kind of does nothing at all, I would radiate neutrality?

Pretty much. And there's no Detect Neutral spell that I know of.

As the text indicates only clerics of chaotic, good, evil and lawful deities have this class feature.

The Detect Evil Paladin class feature is just that: a Paladin class feature. It doesn't come from having an aligned aura. A Cleric can prepare the actual spell, though, if you really wanted to.
