How to make best use of 2 tumor familiars as Alchemist

My alchemist is level 12. I took the tumor familiar discovery and took a 'greensting scorpion'.

I also managed to receive a magical item which gave me a 2nd tumor familiar which has 1/4 of my max HP and ONLY has a standard action.

The only way so far I been using them is by taking out extracts with one and feeding myself with the other.

Could you guys help me devise a better plan for using these 2 tumor familiars, to maximize its use?
