Str Monk Intimidation

Advice

New player here. Really interested in making a str monk that is steeped into intimidation. I looked at a lot of feats and intimidation seems really cool. From what I could gather I will have a hard time being strength based and will have problems with AC. However I am going onward still.

Tiefling
Monstrous Mask gives free 5 intim
Power Attack
Cornugon Smash: Free action Intim on power attack
Fearsome Finish: If someone sees me ko something another free 4 to intim

That is the just of it. I will be looking to pick up: Hammer the Gap and Intimidating Prowess very soon.

Any advice on gear to look for and/or better ways to use this kind of build?

Well, I wouldn't exactly call Monstrous Mask, which is a feat that only works on humanoids, a free +5 to intimidate, but... :P

You'll probably want Power Attack, Intimidating Prowess(STR to Intimidate), the social trait Clever Wordplay(Intelligence instead of Charisma to a Charisma-based skill(Intimidate) seeing as you'll probably still dump Charisma and your Intelligence will be higher(less penalty)), Cornugon Smash and Shatter Defenses.

What level are you?

I am lvl 4 currently. I have no int modifier and a char modifier of 1.

There is also Intimidating Prowess which allows you to add your ST Mod to your Intimidate Check.

The most impressive effect I've seen with Intimidate is from the Feat Shatter Defenses, which makes your opponents Flatfooted (no Dex bonus to AC). But if you are making your opponents Flatfooted, it seems a shame not to be doing Sneak Attack Damage, taking levels in Snakebite Striker Brawler, Vivisectionist Alchemist, Rogue or Ninja, something like that. Since you are using Unarmed Strikes, you can take Knockout Artist, Sap Adept and Sap Master Feats to more than double your Sneak Attack Damage.

I will have to look at shatter defenses. That seems really inline with what I am looking for. I don't know much about dual classing but monks can sneak. I will have to check those out. Thanks
