Migrus: Familiar or Pseudo-Familiar?

Rules Questions

So my players just picked up one of these amazing things:

http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic-items/wondrous-items/wondrous-items/m-p/migru /

My trouble comes in trying to parse this line: "The migrus has attributes of a cat familiar except it has the construct type." Does that mean it grants its master the Alertness feat, +3 on Stealth checks, has Int and natural armor bonuses that vary by the level of the person that opened the box, etc. etc.? Or is it intended to use more generic "basic cat familiar" stats with none of the familiar bonuses? If it's the latter, how do you calculate the level-dependent familiar stats for the migrus?

Bump? :(

Not sure. The original design just gave it the stats of a cat rather than a cat familiar, but that probably doesn't help.

It "has attributes of a cat familiar". It doesn't grant attributes like a cat familiar.
That's my interpretation anyway.

Would be rather cheap to be granting a familiar and alertness feat at only 10 000.

What about things like share spells, speak with animals of its kind, etc.? Those are listed as familiar abilities.

I'm inclined to say "no" based on the original description.

Cool. That at least gives me some insight into the intent behind the item. Cheers, blahpers!
