Non-magical energy resist?

Advice

Other than Linite (Which is the problem I'm having), and Frost-forged or fire-forged steel - My GM would make me need a full suit of armor, and the armor is already taken for other stuff - are there any other <b>exclusively non-magical</b> means of getting fire or cold resist? Preferably something that lasts more than a few rounds. Even two or three minutes would be acceptable, if it's cheap. (He has also nixed asbestos, as being 'too techy'.) (Extra side note, I've looked at the Alchemical Creations page, i wouldn't consider 150 for an hour cheap. =/)

I'm trying to find a way to counter the 1 point of fire/cold damage that a Linite sword during a tournament that my GM has strongly indicated would take place in a either an antimagic field or a microscopic dead magic zone.

Square brackets not angled for the code here BTW.

It sounds like a preexisting character so 'be a tiefling' or similar probably won't help. Troll styptic gives you fast healing 2, but only for 2d4 rounds. Also 100 gp is likely over your budget if 150 gp is. Sorry, it's probably 150 gp, forget the plan, or bite the 1 hp/round bullet.

Right, square brackets. Sorry fell back on my HTML coding from the days of yore.

And bugger. Well, the character can theoretially hit an AC of 25, even in an AMF, so I might just bite the bullet. (Sorry about the slow reply.) Thanks for the advice, you're usually pretty reliable in your info on this stuff.

So fire/cold ward gel is my go to for this. If you are orc or similarly warlike a War Spirit Pouch out of the advanced race guide can get you some temp hit points. Even for the price ward gel is the better investment. Think of it this way - 7.5 gp per hit point saved.
