Does VMC also give class skills from secondary class?

Rules Questions

If I am a Wizard VMC Rogue for example, would I also get all the Rogue's class skills in addition to those of a Wizard?

Silver Crusade

Nope.

VMC only gives what it says it gives.

VMC falls under kind of unofficial official rules. Basically I forget who said it but it was along the lines of: You only get what's written and nothing else. So no. No class skills.

However I've always ruled that if something from that VMC grants the class skills to you (Such as choosing an Order for a Cavalier, a Mystery for an Oracle, or a Domain), you get it.

Yeah if the ability actually grants a skill outside of the set class skills then I’d say you gain those. Not sure how close to the rules that is though.

Rules-wise, Rysky and Hubaris have it. As this is the Rules Forum, that's it. Would it be unbalancing to add the class skills? Not likely.

^Adding the class skills would require some rebalancing within the VMCs. Some classes have really good class skill lists.

Of course, quite a bit of rebalancing within the VMCs is needed anyway -- some of them are really good (like certain Wizard choices, and Bard or Magus on certain primary class chassis), while some of them are unbelievably bad (like Gunslinger and Witch).
