Giants of Ustalav

Advice

I'm making a Half-Orc Goliath Druid who is native to Ustalav. I know there are Trolls in Ustalav, but I'm genuinely curious about what types of giants and trolls live there. Wild Shape requests that I be familiar with the creatures in which I take forms of, but considering my Druid is local to Ustalav I'd like to get a lay of the land and what types of giant-folk could potentially live there.

The information I found, and have, cover this;

The geography of Ustalav is hugely varied with each of the thirteen counties having their own unique geography. Ustalav lies on the very northern tip of Lake Encarthan, surrounding much of Avalon Bay. However, if there is one geographic feature that dominates the entire country, it is the Hungry Mountains that encapsulate an entire county in their stony reaches.

Does anyone know more? I'd like to be able to state that my Druid knows of several types of giants and trolls.

While I'm no expert, pathfinderwiki is. Take a look and see what you can find.

I've tried there. There's very little on the ecology outside saying, "Ustalav is hugely varied with each of the thirteen counties having their own unique geography." The Hungry Mountains could have Rock and Mountain Trolls. Some counties could have isolated moss trolls, maybe a Scrag, but there isn't much info outside the Carrion Crown Campaign.

Edit; Different subject, similar matter. Am I right in assuming that another character can be a 'rock' by definition of Rock Throwing.

It mentions merrows and scrags in the lake at least. And anywhere bordering the hold of Belkzen would seem to have reason to know of most types of evil giants. Dipplemere swamp (Vieland, NE Ustalav) mentions trolls and marsh giants. Frost giants in the Tusk Mountains. You may have to click more than one link to get to pages which mention the monsters.

Edit: Only if the character has hardness, by the rules. Though I see nothing unlikely about halfling-tossing.

Mountain Trolls are generally Solitary or Paired, which means there might be some in the Ustalav mountain regions, but they won't be easy to find unless you actively look for them.

Armor has hardness, which means the halfling inadvertently has hardness, right? Or am I just grasping at straws now.

Tossing the halfling's armor, which just happens to contain a halfling? Maybe, but it's unclear. I think this is an ask your GM question whichever way you take it.

Is it mountain trolls in particular that you're after?

Not exactly, but the option to be a Mountain Troll form at lvl 15 would be superb. I really like options.

Also, it's more of a rules question, but when assuming the form of any troll with Giant Form 2 which would be better, Regeneration 10 (Acid or Fire) or Regeneration 5? Or do I just go with Regeneration 5 (Acid or Fire)?

If you somehow get the option then regen which can't be bypassed is the next best thing to immortality. I don't know what form would give you that exactly.

If your backstory includes conflict with the Hold of Belkzen then seeing a mountain troll should be doable.

Considering a Mountain Troll's ecology; They aren't evil, they like solitude, and prefer to observe a situation before starting a fight.

They're pretty smart and I could say that, because I'm a half-orc, I was abandoned as a child and raised by a Mountain Troll Druid.
