A little help with dpr & feats for my warpriest

Advice

Sovereign Court

Anyone know how to express being able to roll twice to hit (h) on the dpr forumula: h(d+s)+tchd?

I'm trying to determine whether I should continue focusing my warpriest on my mwk greatsword or to focus on the new +1 chainsaw I just picked up in the Iron Gods AP.

@7th level Str 17, BAB+5
Current Feats: B=class bonus/favored class bonus
1Catch-Off Guard, 1W.Focus (Imp weapons)B, 3W.Focus (Gsword), 3Wpn of the chosenB, 5Imp WotC, 6DisruptiveB, 6Vital StrikeB, 7Gr. WotC & traded minor blessing for Greatsword Battler (divine fighting technique).

If I go chainsaw I would take power attack at 7th and retrain the weapon of the chosen line for exotic and w. focus (chainsaw).

let's see if my memory of math works.

I think you replace H with (1-(1-h)^2)

(1-h)^2 is the chance of both rolls missing and then you subtract that from 1 to get the chance of at least one roll hitting.

my guess as what you'll find
full attack with a greatsword is likely more DPR than vital strike even with rolling twice. So full attacking with an even stronger weapon will be more than that.

Not worth it.

The Chainsaw requires two feats to come out ahead by at least 1 point of damage, tops. Unless it has an 18-20 crit range, it's hardly comparable.

It does have an 18-20 crit range.
