I'm not sure how this works if someone could help ole Atalius out that'd be wonderful. So here's the scenario. I move up to my opponent and vital strike him, can I then spend a ki point to attack him one more time (this would be without vital strike of course)?
No.
Vital Strike uses the attack action.
You can only use a ki point to add an additional attack when using flurry of blows, which requires using the full attack action.
