Starfinder Terrain

General Discussion

So my brother took the plunge for me and got me Starfinder for Christmas. Core, Alien Archive and the GM Screen (On order). So I've been trolling around looking for good terrain to buy with a $100 gift card for Amazon.

So far I like the look of the Sector Mechanius stuff that's for Necromunda/Warhammer 40k. It's so expensive though. I've got tons of Dungeon Tiles and Cave Tiles from Dwarven Forge but I've never broken in to SciFi terrain. One other thing to note is that I have the Battlesystems Modern terrain, I dislike the long assembly time of it though. The detail is nice of course.

So what I'd like is something I can piece together, paint, and store away (oxford comma FTW). I've been looking in to MDF stuff and that looks promising but I'm looking for community recommendations on what everyone else is using.

Another thing to note is that I do have a 3D Printer and I've looked in to printing my own stuff but it takes way too long to print everything. lol

There's a wealth of MDF terrain manufacturers that do science fiction terrain.

Do a search for "Designed for Infinity MDF" for more modern looking stuff, or "40K terrain MDF" if you prefer your seeing more grim dark.

You tend to get more bang for your buck for MDF vs plastic.

If you provide your preference as to look, I can also recommend more specific manufacturers.

I'll be honest. While I like the grim dark look of the 40k stuff I feel like the Infinity stuff fits the feel of Starfinder better. The only limiting factor is the fact that I have to use my Amazon card for now.

Has anyone in the community tried the Mantic stuff?

So I took the plunge and bought the Mantic Stuff. I'll let everyone know how it turns out. I can use it for Wargames if it doesn't work for Starfinder.
