Are there methods to extend concentration spells in general after you stop concentrating? I'm aware of some for Illusions, but I'm trying to find a way for a Psychic to enhance use of Id Insinuation so that it continues for longer than one round if I fail a concentration check or have to drop concentration to take a different standard action. Limitations are they have to work with a Psychic and enchantment school spells.

Just to clarify something, concentrating on a spell doesn't automatically require a concentration check. It requires spending a standard action.
Concentration: The spell lasts as long as you concentrate on it. Concentrating to maintain a spell is a standard action that does not provoke attacks of opportunity. Anything that could break your concentration when casting a spell can also break your concentration while you're maintaining one, causing the spell to end. See concentration.
Now anything that would make you have to make a concentration check while casting will force a concentration check while concentrating on a spell, but this isn't really so out of the ordinary.

I know, but I don’t want to plan to never take significant damage as well as never needing to cast a follow up spell.
Is this for PFS play? If not, then you may wish to have a look at the pageantry psychic discipline from Heroes of the High Court. That should provide everything you're looking for. ^_^
The busted 4th level bonus spell ruins it for me, and I don’t like the other bonus spells. The discipline abilities are strong, but I’m not sure my GM will accept Power from Pageantry as a balanced ability. I don’t blame PFS for banning it.
