So As some of you may know I've been working on finalizing an unarmed sacred fist warpriest build. Originally This character would be a worshiper of Irori....but the more i think about it the more I feel Saranrae would be the better fit.
Let me Explain Her Backstory
Basically She was orphaned as a baby at the doorstep of a monastery. They Took her in and taught her the ways of martial arts and what not.
But while she proved she was more then capable in hand to hand combat
Where she truly shined was as a doctor, healing and tending to other, even going so far as to rush into danger to help those who were incapacitated on the battlefield.
So much so that she even took a vow to never use a weapon to harm another living being, she can hold weapons for others and hand them to her allies, but she under no circumstances is to use anything but her hands and feet to fight, because lets be real here, absolute pacifism while admirable is impractical.
So while an unarmed combatant, she would rather leave her enemies incapacitated and alive if possible. Unless well they are already dead.
So both Saranrae and Irori would work, since saranrae having monks worship her isn't unheard of, and irori is self explanatory. Just can't decide between the 2.

It depends on what the character views the ideals of the gods in question.
Irori is mostly about perfection of self. If the character feels that they aren't doing enough to improve their way of life, or feel that they still haven't reached a level they are comfortable with, Irori may be the deity of choice.
Conversely, if the character has reached a level in which they are comfortable with, but feel that the value of life isn't being truly appreciated, they may think Sarenrae to be the better deity.

I think Korada is probably a better choice than either of those.
Here's a quote from his writeup in Chronicle of the Righteous:
Korada carries no weapons; when spurred to anger, the Open Hand of Harmony uses only his hands and millennia of martial training to defend himself, refusing to cause lethal harm to his attacker.

Korada was definitely a contender and his domains are all good....but would He still be a good fit if you understand the harsh reality that well...some people are beyond forgiveness and gotta go for the good of others?

Well, which of the two deities do you like more?
I'm conflicted both have their good points. Irori fits more as he is the patron deity of all monkness.
But saranrae's Just so much better combat-wise.
Not to mention my character and saranrae would probably see eye to eye better, due to both of them just wanting to help others.
While she would consider Irori's Single minded obsession with perfection to be rather selfish and honestly unrealistic. Does she agree with his dogma to always strive to be your best? Of course everyone one should aim to be as good as is within their ability.
But one has to wonder IS perfection a thing? I mean even deities for all their power aren't perfect.

My recommendation then, is to have your character worship Sarenrae, since it sounds like she would be more drawn to worshipping the Dawnflower than Irori.

Or you could look at it as Irori doing things honestly and the others being lame... which is apparently how Irori sees it:
A minor rivalry exists between his faith and those of Cayden Cailean, Iomedae, and Norgorber, as he considers their rise to deity status through the Test of the Starstone as cheating.
But on the original question, it looks to me like you would be comfortable with Sarenrae but have niggling doubts forever with Irori. And having niggling doubts forever is, like, bad.
