Animal Companion and Cloaks

Rules Questions

Simply put - can an animal companion, more specifically a boar, wear a Cloak of Resistance?

Animal companion, and later on Ultimate wilderness with an updated list, gave a full list of which slots and which animals work together.

Boars are in category quadruped(hooves), which has the slots armor, belt (saddle), chest, eyes, feet (horseshoes), head, headband, neck, and shoulders. That's the Ultimate Wilderness list, which I believe is currently definitive.

If you are not in PFS, your boar has all of those open, so you can put a cloak in its shoulders slot. If you are in PFS, I believe you need to take the Extra Item Slot feat for it, limited to the above-listed slots, in order for it to wear anything at all.

Cool, thanks. I'll be buying my boar a cloak then. I need to get him Power Attack but I didn't want to retrain his Iron Will without a way to make up the bonus. Boars have a very low Will save.
