I'm sure these have been covered before, but there are so many Solarian threads to dig through that I'll hazard covering old ground. I know how I'm going to treat these in my game, I'm just curious what the official stance is.
For the Radiation power: is Radiation treated as literal radiation, or a supernatural equivalent of it? Which is to say, do armour environmental protections protect against it, or no? (I'm leaning no for my game, since it's possible to recover from the power's sickness by moving out of range, which wouldn't be possible with actual radiation.)
For the Sunbolt power: does using Solarian weapon crystals only allow you to change the damage type of the power, or does it also provide the weapon crystal damage bonus? (I'm leaning toward that latter answer for my game, since it makes the power more useful at the higher levels where it comes into play, but again the CRB is a bit ambiguous.)
I'll have more of these going forward, I'm sure. Thanks!

Yeah, good questions. There's another FAQ post on the radiation question here.
(As a side note, if you want to get a FAQ from the devs on some questions (which might not be your goal), you might consider separating them into separate threads, as suggested by Chris Lambertz in the Starfinder Rules Questions Guidelines.)

What the text says,
If you hit, you deal 9d6 fire damage. If you have a solarian crystal that changes the type of damage dealt by a solar weapon, you can use it to change the type of damage you deal with your sunbolt. It says you can switch the type of damage to the type of the Solarian Crystal. Issue is in the core rule book Solarain crystals only have a Fire type. So it should say, If you have a Weapon Fusion attached to your Solarian crystal and that weapon fusion adds a different type to your Solarian Weapon you can use that type instead of fire damage.
I praise Paizo for making Starfinder but I feel the book needed to be beta tested a little more. We are barely getting FAQs which is a little frustrating. Of course just my opinion.

Good suggestion @Porridge, I'll do that in future.
Thanks @Farlaghn, yes, I saw that in the CRB, but that doesn't clarify to me whether you also get the crystal's other benefits with the power. Usually if you didn't, it would specify that.
I didn't notice that about the weapons crystals listings, so yes, that's something that could use clarifying too. I have a feeling that I know which types of damage each type of crystal is meant to let you switch to but it should be stated there, that looks like a simple error.

FAQ'ed that one as well. I keep seeing this question pop up on the boards, it would be nice if it was clarified. :)

I don't see why you would get the other benefits. You're already getting extra benefits than crystals normally allow by letting them modify the damage type of a sunbolt. If they intended to allow full benefits, they wouldn't have called out that one benefit, they'd have just said sunbolt gains the benefit of weapon crystals as if it were a solar weapon.
But it's not like I haven;t been wrong before, so *shrug*.
