Spun off from the "Worst Archetype" thread, but slightly different. We're looking for archetypes with cool-to-awesome-concepts, but crappy execution.
I'll start with the Sorceror of Sleep. This is a classic pulp concept: the spellcaster whose powers are enhanced by drugs and/or addiction. Robert E. Howard! Leigh Brackett! C.L. Moore! Unfortunately, the execution is "swap your bloodline arcana for some crap skills, gain access to the poorly designed pesh feats, and gain a useless touch power". I could live with it being weak, but what grates is that it's not flavorful either. You don't even have to be a drug user or dealer. It looks like an NPC archetype, but if you use it to build an NPC, it's just not that interesting. And it's a damn shame, because a drug-powered sorceror is such a cool idea.
What've you got?

Well, until there's some sort of official clarification as to how any of this works, I've got to say the Oozemorph. I was so excited to play an Oozey-Person, and the prospect of starting out at level 1 as someone whose ability to move, see, hear, talk, and interact with objects is largely undefined or nonexistent for 23 hours of the day is pretty discouraging.
It's kind of cool once you hit level 6,but...

I think the Sword Saint (Samurai archetype) fits well here. It’s a great idea — a non-mounted devotee of the sword is a classic samurai trope. But it gives up the mount and banner abilities for... effectively nothing: some circumstantial combat abilities that are significantly less effective than making ordinary full attacks.

Kapenia Dancer Magus off the top of my head, though I'm sure I could think of many more.
It could be all about mesmerizing, deadly dances, Spring Attack-powered builds, I could see them working with illusions, color spray and prismatic effects while twirling in dazzling colors and a whirlwind of silk hiding steel.
We got diminished spellcasting, critical effects on a x2 critical weapon, and arcane options that burn pool like gasoline. And I hate that a Kensai is way better with a bladed scarf than the archetype that was supposed to focus on it.
