Water dancer monks robes?

Say I have one level in water dancer monk somewhere in my build and I throw on a monks robe. Would the Monks robe count towards this ability?

I would say no, because that's got nothing to do with the AC bonus the robe refers to, which is the bonus per level, since it clearly spells out it doesn't include the Wisdom to AC ability.
