Anhk Talisman, Greater from 1 / day to Continuous

Rules Questions

Can anyone assist with determining what it would cost to create a continuous Anhk Talisman (normally 1x/day) to a continuous effect?

Construct cost @ 1x per day is 6250 (CL: 7, Death Ward and Force Punch).

first step, is there any item that does this already? if yes the price should be about that.

If no item exists,
"Charges per day -> Divide by (5 divided by charges per day)"
So this says that a once per day is 1/5 of unlimited use but not constant. thus we reverse it to get multiply by 5. So the construction cost would be 31,250 assuming that your original price of 6250 is correct.

Plus a lot of things don't translate well from limited per day to continuous. So ask your GM. If you are the GM, compare to other items. If it's a "snap buy" at a price, it is too low.

Spoiler:
Talisman, Greater

A greater talisman functions as a lesser talisman of the same type, but has much greater longevity. It can provide its benefits once per day.
Talisman, Lesser
Ankh Talisman: This cross has a loop at the top. When a living creature wears it as a talisman, it radiates a soft, golden glow. When the wearer is hit by a creature with the energy drain ability, he receives a saving throw to negate the energy drain, using the DC listed for the ability (which usually determines whether temporary negative levels become permanent). If the creature’s energy drain allows an initial saving throw, the talisman grants a second saving throw if the wearer fails his initial saving throw. If he succeeds at the saving throw granted by the talisman, the talisman releases a blast of force that automatically hits the attacker (as per force punch). Moderate necromancy; CL 7th; death ward, force punch.

Deathless has a similar effect, and is a +1 bonus to armor.

Spoiler:
This armor protects its wearer from harmful negative and positive energy, including channeled energy. The armor absorbs the first 10 points of positive or negative energy damage per attack that the wearer would normally take. The wearer has a 25% chance to ignore negative levels from any attack. Deathless armor does not block healing of any kind and does not protect against positive or negative energy effects that do not deal damage or bestow negative levels. The deathless ability can be applied to armor of any sort, but not shields.

As the base spell is Death Ward is 1m/l, that would apply a 2* price multiplier.

However, that does not take into account the instant effect of the force punch, which cannot be made continuous.

Cevah's comparison is sound, in my opinion, but you must take into account a save against an effect that normally does not allow a save and two saves for one that does is far better than a 25% chance to ignore negative levels from any attack in most scenarios. If you upgrade the talisman to be "always on" I would only allow the force attack once per day, and still go with the 5 times cost suggested by Chess PWN.

Alternatively you could just create a new wondrous magic item that is Anhk shaped that bestows the Deathless effect on the wielder as if they were wearing armor with that quality.
