Spheres of power and Dreamscarred press psionics--compare?

Advice and Rules Questions

Now note, Im not talking about which one is better--I've played both and love them both. What I mainly wonder about is what happens if you have both systems in a campaign? Are there likely to be ugly interactions? Is one dramatically more or less powerful than the other? Things like that.

Off-hand, my feeling is that Psionics will definitely win-out power wise if you don't allow players to take Advanced Talents. It's a bit of a toss-up if you do. I wouldn't expect any particularly ugly interactions, though you may have to slightly tinker with Psionics-Magic Transparency.

Psions get 36 powers at level 20. Incanters get 32 (including the two bonus). So variety-wise they're not too far off.

However Psions, Wilders, and Tacticians can gain access to wish-like spells, which suggests to me their power level is above even Advanced Talents in the end.

Psionics is "balanced" around 9th level casting in the normal system. Spells at end game still warp reality.

Spheres of Power is about balancing that. Making 20th level wizards powerful but not world altering.
