Alchemist bombs and what are they!?

Rules Questions

Grenadier alchemists have a skill to infuse a weapon with a "Alchemical item" and they have the ability to Infuse chemicals and magical reserves to make "Bombs".

The question here is, is a bomb an Alchemical item?

The skill itself is a super natural skill, but the final product is what Im looking for.

Bombs are a class feature, Alchemical Items are a type of equipment (Alchemist's Fire, Sneezing Powder, Bottled Lightning, etc.).

The only way to add Bomb damage to an attack is with the Explosive Missile Discovery.

Shadow Lodge

Or to use a conductive weapon.

Or be a Gun Chemist and turn your bombs into bullets! ;)

Is a Alchemist's Bomb class feature a liquid?

Quote:

alchemists are adept at swiftly mixing various volatile chemicals and infusing them with their magical reserves to create powerful bombs that they can hurl at their enemies...

Drawing the components of, creating, and throwing a bomb requires a standard action that provokes an attack of opportunity.

A class feature is not in itself a liquid. This class feature involves mixing chemicals (presumably liquids) into a single mixture (presumably a liquid) that explodes shortly thereafter.
