This is the base Idea I am going for the next character I play in a pathfinder campaign. I know I am going to be a one trick pony a little bit with shocking grasp in the beginning but will be able to alter that spell and other spells later on. I plan on building this char to level 20. So any suggestions on other feats that I should take would be helpful.

The thing that I am struggling with is that I don’t know if I want to stick with Halfling or go Elf?
With these traits:
Elven Immunities
Dragon Magic
Blended View
Elven Magic
Weapon Familiarty

I also don’t know if there is a better selection of traits that might help me out better?

Any suggestions on what prestige class I should build towards or should I just stick with these two classes?

I was going to suggest the "creepy doll" halfling alternate race trait, but then I realized I misread that says "sparky," not spooky.

Why multiclass sorcerer/magus? What abilities do you want that you can't get by sticking with one or the other? Is it worth losing spellcasting progression for them?

These benefits along with wpn proficiency in simple and martial weapons

Ranged Weapon Bond (Ex)

Ranged Spell Combat (Ex)

Ranged Spellstrike (Su)

except I miss read one spot on the Armored Mage, A multiclass magus still incurs the normal arcane spell failure chance for arcane spells received from other classes. So nevermind, i can't get free light armor without arcane spell failure.

So why not stick with magus? Multiclassing sorcerer will give you a poor bab for missing things, and you can't use spell combat or spell strike with non magus spells without the "broad study" arcana, which requires you to have 6 levels of magus. If what you want is magic powered archer, then I think you will do better with all magus then with multiclassing.

The arcane powered archer is a back up. My main attack is going to go with shocking grasp and the use of spectral hand. By using the feats intensified spells and elemental spell, it becomes very effective. The reason i like sorcerer is that I have higher spell levels. Magus maxes out at 6th level spells.

But if you want to be able to use spell strike with sorcerer spells that requires 6 levels of magus, leaving 14 level of sorcerer. At sorcerer level 14, you get 7th level spells. So at your very last level, you will get one higher level of spells than you would just going magus.

Or, you could just stick to sorcerer if what you really want is higher level spells. If you want full spellcaster that also has a bow, maybe go with elf for the weapon proficiency and stick with a full caster progression class.

So I realize it sounds like I'm trying to talk you out of it, that's not actually the intent. I'm trying to get you to think it through and make an informed decision. I know it sucks when you thought you were making one thing, but when you get there it turns out you actually aren't able to do it well. I love making multiclass characters, but it always takes me a lot of extra work and planning compared to making a single class one.

Your information and input is very helpful. It allows me to see it from a different point of view and see why it will or won't work. That is why I usually stay away from spellcasters, because you can't multiclass very well at all.
