Advice for a cult God

Advice

Hello everybody,

So this is my first time as DM and I'm forming a story that is somewhat my idea and taking bits and pieces some other stories. There's 5 people in the group, and it's a city campaign so there's like 6 million people in this city it's massive. And I've been developing a side quest where made an NPC who was an experiment from this Cult of Mages (I'm calling it The Cult of the Mixed Bloods) where they are mixing different races Bloods, trying to create hybrids of demons / dragons / pretty much all other monsters. The NPC is a half-orc Barbarian / bloodrager. And basically he's going to go to them and ask for their help in destroying the cult base/headquarters. So my question is is there a God that kind of Dells in mixing races or along those lines. Preferably I'd like it's being evil God, but I can tweak it a little bit if it's not a completely evil God.
Thanks in advance!

Well, assuming 'god' in this case includes 'anything that gives a domain'... then that is easy- the demon lord Haagenti.

This is a demon lord associated with alchemy and research. He presents himself as the most 'reasonable' demon lord, simply acting as a muse to inspire others, or a trader of technical knowledge.

Obviously, that is all a ploy, since he mostly deals in knowledge that causes a lot of pain. He is the one that lead the drow in the research for fleshwarping, so you can tell he often encourages people towards mad science. He also might give neutral innovations... to completely corrupt and evil individuals (ie- he gives a super weapon to a warlord).

His interests also include shapeshifting and non werewolf lycanthropes (werewolves fall under a different demon lord).

So this guy seems like a good fit for you.

This is definitely within the purview of both an evil offshoot of Nethys's religion might do as well as something that certain kinds of Lamashtites might get up to.

Well, even some of the Good and Neutral worshipers of Nethys will get in on trying to make the world's next Owlbear from time to time.

This is also a case where you could have an idol behind the cult instead of a god or demigod or archfiend.

I'm sure there's some demon lords that might be interested in this sort of thing to some extent as well, but Lamashtu is the big Demon Goddess on the whole monster-making front.

Thanks guys I appreciate it! It really helped out a lot!
