I am in a campaign that is fast approaching Level 7 and I am looking at the different options that become available and Leadership is on my mind.
I am running a barbarian who has +0 to charisma, but I have Intimidating Prowess and my strength is +5.
From your GM point of view how would you feel about ruling IP to Leadership.
Also keep in mind that this character is very much a Chaotic barbarian who WOULD use intimidation to command his followers.

RAW, Intimidating Prowess only applies to Intimidate skill checks. It doesn't add to other Cha-based skills, normal Cha checks, or any other effects that use Cha (including the character's leadership score).
"Command[ing] his followers" using intimidation does not normally enhance those followers' loyalty* and devotion*...
*- "This feat enables you to attract a loyal cohort and a number of devoted subordinates who assist you."
