I've been reading up on the Summoner since I thought it would be a good fit for a game I'm applying to. However, most of the guides are on the original version. The character will be a follower of Asmodeus so I was going to have a Devil eidolon and I picture it wielding a weapon. I'm still debating between half-elf and human so I'm trying to determine if I will need the extra evolution points from the half-elf.
I think my lack of understanding some of the details in the overall rules is causing problems. My main confusion is on using a weapon since most of the evolutions have to do with natural attacks. If I use a 2H weapon, can I add a bite attack for a second attack? If so, is the weapon attack always primary and natural attacks secondary (-5 to hit). Then later do I add more arms for slam attacks? Otherwise, it seems I'll only get 2 attacks with a weapon at most versus up to 6 or 7 with natural attacks.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

1- If I use a 2H weapon, can I add a bite attack for a second attack? Yes.
2- If so, is the weapon attack always primary and natural attacks secondary (-5 to hit)? Not really. The weapon attack has no primary/secondary nomenclature. It's a weapon attack, full stop. Unlike natural attacks, weapons get iterative attacks at BAB +6, +11 and +16. The bite will be however a secondary natural attack, that is -5 to hit and HALF the strength to damage. If you take the Multiattack feat, the malus to hit is only -2 (but you still apply only half strength to damage).
3- Then later do I add more arms for slam attacks? The Devil form already has limbs [arms] and claws evolutions. This means that, if you add another couple of arms, you can use these (which have no claws) to hold the 2H weapon, and the original ones to deliver 2 additional -secondary- claw attacks (-5 to hit and half strength to damage).
EDIT: Unfortunately, the most efficient form for using manufactured weapons is exactly the opposite of Devil: Azata.
