Do large characters suffer any penalties while using the acrobatics skill?
Not directly. Larger creatures tend to have lower Dexterity scores, however. They also tend to have higher than normal speeds, so actually receive a bonus when jumping because of that.
But there is no penalty (or bonus) on the skill for being Large or larger.
When using acrobatics to slip through a narrow surface? Sure.
