Grappling tie-up question

The rules state:

Tie-up with rope -- If your opponent is pinned, you may tie them up. Escape DC = 20 + your CMB.

My question is, instead of a rope may I use manacles or something similar? And would the DC still be 20+ your CMB or would it be different?

I see no issue on chaining or using manacles instead or ropes to tie up.

Manacles and mechanical fixations usually have a fixed DC, so you'd use those values instead of any roll.

Quickcatch manacles are the item you want. Without them, you cannot do it without gm permission.
