Alright folks so I recently joined a new Curse of the Crimson Throne campaign and I have decide I want to play an enchantment/illusionist/debuff specialist. I am hoping to make this character decent in combat but have a heavier focus on the role playing aspect of the game. Right now I am looking at either playing a Dreamweaver Witch or a Mesmerist. The numbers I rolled for stats are 8, 13, 14, 12, 15, 13.
Honestly however it been so long since I have been on this side of the table I have no clue on what I am doing. Any of you have any words of wisdom? Aka if you where building character that specialized in enchantment spells what would you build?

I feel like people are going to tell you to try a kitsune sorcerer with the fey bloodline. I will say that my spirit walker mesmerist is a lot of fun--able to make a ghoul laugh with hideous laughter--able to force humanoids to save to successfully die (see continued animation). I even made an ooze laugh once--it laughed like a bowl full of jelly. I've run for a dream weaver before and the flavor is very very cool, but with a 15 as your highest stat pre racials, the kitsune's boost to charisma AND enchantments might be a life saver If you go sorcerer or mesmerist.

Mesmerist is a great choice for that particular brand of character.
Basically put your highest stat in Charisma, pick a race with a Charisma bonus.
I'd probably have a decent Intelligence just to make sure I had room for all the social skills.
I'd focus on the Mesmerist feats that allow you to broaden your tricks and stares.

If you're looking for a non-Mesmerist idea, take a look at the Rakshasa Bloodline Sorcerer. A temporary buff to social skills and a possibility to foil "zone of truth"-like effects at 1st level along with bloodline spells and abilites that (generally) line-up with the Enchantment focus as you level-up.
I've played a build of it on in a couple connected one-shots and really liked it.
