Verces weather and finding a parking spot.

Verces is tidally locked with one side always in sunlight. So I would assume that there would be a constant wind of cold air flowing from the dark side, near ground level, towards the sunlit side. Along with very hot air flowing at higher altitudes towards the dark side.
This sounds like an approach from orbit to the terminator could be a rough ride. Wind shear, lighting, possibly hail moving in any given direction. But then fly in too low over the Outlaw Kingdoms could be just as hazardous.
Air defense would probably have any planet side space ports near the edges of the temperate zone. An area of warehouses, bars and cheap hotels. The sort of place to meet marginalized people who just need you to run a quick errand.
There maybe space ports closer in, but that is for important people or those with money. Basically not you and your crew, at least not at the beginning.

Tidally locked planets with atmosphere have interesting possibilities. I can't say whether your astrophysical theorizing is accurate or not, but it does sound fun!

I don't know if this is what would happen or not. A lot of weather patterns are due to planet rotation. Given the ground is pretty much permanently baked it might be that the cold air flowing in is heated fast enough to minimize any severe terminator turnover.

I doubt the "equatorial" winds are too bad, certainly not bad enough to make landing at a space port difficult. If they were, civilization probably wouldn't have been able to develop on Verces.
