What am I missing: Aldori issues

Rules Questions

So just bought the Adventurers guide, and looking over all the new toys...

Right now looking at aldori, and I just don't get the value of the whole group...

First the sword itself...Yes you can use finesse, but stat wise it is a longsword, You need exotic weapon for...not a bad bonus...but not great, especially when you factor in slashing grace. Two feats instead of three, but that extra feat is going to be something you want anyways ...

Now the feat (This is where my problem really is)...
*Artistry: Total waste, the improved versions work better, yes slightly different prereq (Combat expertise), but much more versatile and includes the lack of a AOO

What is your rules question?

What advantages does Aldori Artistry have over the improved feats

That's not a rule question though.

As for advantages, it applies to every maneuver. Versatility.

Can you quote or link to the abilities in question?

If you're just asking, "Why take them?", then that becomes more of an Advice Forum question.

Pathfinder has all sorts of options for all sorts of builds. Sometimes one option simply isn't as good as another, or may be superior given other circumstances.
