Androids and AC

A good question was asked to me earlier today about a character idea.

"If I roll an android and DON'T have armor equipped, do I still get an armor bonus because my body is constructed from a form of metal?"

I guess she was asking if this would go along with an objects Hardness rating and than after that harness rating was depleted would affect the character's Stam/HP.

It makes sense to me, since the android is made of some kind of alloy and not flesh, but I wanted to ask everyone's opinion of this before I okayed it. I personally feel like it would be game breaking.

Androids aren't metal. They have synthetic skin. Plus, if they were meant to have an AC bonus, it would say on their page that they get an AC bonus. They've already got a bunch of really good racial bonuses, they don't really need another.

If Androids got Natural Armor or Hardness it would call it out. They do not.
