My suggestions may not be as good as the others, but I think that it would be good to have an unusual option for them to pick.
How about instead of an entire gestalt, you just give them some additional class abilities that compliment their character?
Give Lorana inspire courage and a good will save.
Kaze can get a version of divine grace to keep him out of trouble.
Lucine can get an extra set of channels and a good fort save.
Petra can get an unchained eidolon with the inevitable subtype flavored as ancient technology.
