And on the issue of adding your Str mod to damage...
Warlock Mystic Bolts: This ability says that it lets me count it as a light weapon, but is it manufactured? Do the bolts add my Strength bonus on damage rolls?
Warlock mystic bolts aren’t manufactured weapons; they’re magical effects (similar to scorching rays or the flames from produce flame), and you don’t add your Strength bonus on damage rolls.
The FAQ uses Produce Flame as an example of an effect to which the Strength Bonus is not added.

I understand the motivation, but it would help if they actually stated anywhere that Strength bonus only applies to manufactured weapons, especially given the history of "weapon-like" spell interactions. Otherwise, this will keep coming up. Stating in a FAQ that "uhh, we used 'weapon' as shorthand for 'manufactured weapon'" goes completely against their historical use of the word to mean things like 'unarmed strike', 'ray', 'blow from a spiritual weapon', and so on. Consistency would be nice, as this part of the rules is not remotely intuitive and will confuse the heck out of new players (and old players using new rules).
