Laser Designation

Has anyone come across any already existing tools or homebrewed that can provide laser targeting for others?

I am planning on "upgrading" my Mechanic's drone so that it can designate targets in cover (Markerlight drones in 40k).

Without having read all the tactical rules yet,

-Simply have the drone use "Aid another" and see if there is a fusion or feat that bumps that up.

OR

-Indirect fire via a camera for targeting.
