I, like I am sure many of you are, am a fan of Game of Thrones. This last episode definitely had some problems, but the set up made me think of what a great table top adventure it would be. Would anyone be interested in playing those characters sent on a mission beyond the wall?
It would be Gendry, Thoros of Myr, Beric Dondarrion, Jorah Mormont, Tormund Giantsbane, Sandro Clegane and Jon Snow.
I would use Pathfinder and likely do something a bit different with recruitment. I might build the characters myself and basically ask for writing samples from people to determine who I select. I would allow whomever I selected to alter the character's build a bit as little not as it fits the character. The plot would differ significantly from that of the show.

That's a good point. I'd be playing with the fiction a bit for sure; I'd be going for level parity for all characters so I'll be taking some liberties with builds and such. I think I can make it all work though; it'd be mostly, in that situation, predicated on Gendry having fighting simply in his blood as a Baratheon bastard
