My class (cleric) and race (Human) are decided, and I want to keep my feats as is, but I'm thinking I'll need better spell penetration for non outsiders in way of the wicked.
What item type options are there to help bypass spell resistance? I know about the ioun stone that gives you +1 cl, and dwomers dust, and a metamagic rod of piercing spell. What else is there? Thanks guys.

The spell Sure Spell gives you +5 CL on your next spell to overcome spell resistance (SR). Cast it in the surprise round or, if you can, quickened before casting your main spell.
I know you already know it, but it is worth to explicitly cite again the Rod of Piercing Spell, as in my opinion it is your best bet in terms of items: 3 times per day +5 vs SR for only 3k gp for low level spells.
Next, I would save some money for an Otherworldly Kimono (67k) for a +4 on CL checks.
Beads of Karma cost (ask your GM) 20k, and give you +4 to CL (full CL, not only checks) for 10 minutes per day.
A Ring of Transcendent Spells (30k) gives you +2 CL vs SR and +2 to spell DCs 3 times per day.
Finally, there are a bunch of inexpensive consumables you can use as additional material components while casting spells that increase the CL for the spell by +1 on certain schools. You can find them on the first and last pages of the Alchemy Manual. Another kind of consumables are Varisian Idols, one of which gives +2 on CL vs SR to energy-spells.
