Hunter and Ranger advice

Rules Questions

Hi friends!

Feral Hunter and ranger join with Shapeshifting Hunter feat?

Can you reword this?

Do you mean 2 players? One person 2 classes?

Yes you qualify but technically it's worthless since you don't have any druid levels to stack on or with. And it's not saying your wildshape druid level, so you don't get to use your effective druid level either.

It would stack for the purposes of wildshape, but not for favored enemy.

Why not for the favored enemy?
The hunter has a class feature called nature training that specifically gives it a druid level for feats like this.

"purpose of qualifying for feats, traits, and options that modify or improve an animal companion."

It's not a feat that improves your animal companion so you don't count as druid or hunter for it.

You have no druid level for ranger levels to stack onto or to stack onto the ranger levels.
