Card Caster Magus and Shadowcraft Harrow Deck

Rules Questions

So I was wondering, since the "Deadly Dealer" feat, which the Card Caster gets for free, allows to enhance a Harrow Deck and use it, as though it was a bunch of 54 darts (and the card caster's arcane pool synergizes with this), would it be possible to make a shadowcraft Harrow Deck which doesn't destroy cards upon hitting, since the "ammo" is only quasi-real? Or maybe transform the 54 quasi- darts into a bunch of quasi-real crystal chakrams, so I can hit with my spells at a much higher crit range?
Since the magus can give weapons up to +5 enhancement bonus, an enemy would have to succeed at a DC 25 will save to disbelief, which would not make those weapons too bad.

Because a deck is treated as ammunition and shadowcraft must be on a weapon, I don't know if you can do this.

The Deadly Dealer fest states

Deadly Dealer wrote:
A spellcaster with this feat can enhance a deck of cards as though it were a ranged weapon with 54 pieces of ammunition.

That's why I thought it might be possible to enhance it with shadowcraft.

As I said I don't know. I can see a GM certainly being lenient on the idea of it though.

This issue comes from you changing the ammo into weapons. The cards are ammunition and chakrams are certainly weapons.

So basically in your interpretation the whole deck would become one chakram.

You can see where this may get confusing.

I see what your concerns are, but the Crystal Chakram text states

Crystal Chakram wrote:
A crystal chakram is treated as ammunition for the purpose of creating magic weapons.

Do you think, that you could treat the harrow deck as a ranged weapon with 54 pieces of ammo for the purpose of enchanting and then use the shadowcraft weapon ability to turn the Cards, which are treated as darts for the purpose of attacking, into crystal chakrams?

Well firstly apologies for not seeing the word crystal.

But secondly now it's turning a weapon into ammunition. It's kind of an ugly mess rules wise.

I don't see an issue with it as a GM. It's as the rules are written it's a little more muddied.

Basically you'll have to ask GM permission for a slight rules bend. Which isn't massive considering the hoops you're jumping.
