bloodrager bloodline powers

Advice and Rules Questions

is there any 3rd party stuff out there that would let a bloodrager have one of their bloodline powers that normally require you to be in bloodrage to be online without the bloodrage?

Scarab Sages

It would be an awfully substantial power boost that would take away a great deal of incentive for one to Bloodrage at all.

If there is such a thing, in order for it to not be inexcusably imbalanced, it would have to come with serious prerequisites, limitations, and/or drawbacks.

i would expect it to sacrifice another bloodline power or something like that would be thematic sacrificing one bloodline ability to enhance another, possibly a bloodline mutation if it or a similar effect even exists

Scarab Sages

Possible, if one did it right, but probably not the way most would do it, since that would have to result in a gaping hole in progression somewhere.

Not 3rd-party, but I did do it as a homebrew. I extended the bloodline allow the bloodrager to ignore some prerequisites to feats similar to her bloodline powers.

The particular case was a human with the Air Elemental bloodline. After she gained the 8th-level Elemental Movement bloodline power that gave her "Fly 60 feet (good)", I allowed her to take the Airy Step and Wings of Air feats, both which require that that character be a Sylph. The pair of feats let her fly even when not bloodraging, though at only 40 feet speed and not while wearing medium armor. (She switched to mithril armor, which counts as light for movement, and flying is movement.)

I see similar feats for other bloodline powers. The first-level Elemental bloodline "Elemental Strikes" power is similar to Elemental Strike from Inner Sea Races. The first-level Arcane bloodline "Disruptive Bloodrage" power states that it stacks with the Disruptive feat, so let it also qualify the bloodrager to take Disruptive.

To convince a GM to allow this flexibility, point out that the bloodrager can already do that while bloodraging, when the power is the most useful, so allowing a feat that does the same thing is more roleplaying than powergaming.
