Having trouble with Damage Reduction

Advice

Hi, so I'm playing sort of a strange character that somehow works, it is a dual class draconic bloodline sorcerer and dragon disciple, which is sort of focused on dps and tanking. However, as we have hit the level 15 - 20 range, the DR on monsters has increased significantly, and I find myself going from doing on average something like 120 damage a turn to more like 80. I believe this is because he only way for me to function as dps is for me to use form of the dragon, which has a ridiculous amount of attacks for me to use. Anyone have any ideas?

What kind of DR?

Eldritch Claws (feat) will make your natural attacks magic and silver. Arcane Strike (feat) will make them magic. An amulet of mighty fists will give all of your natural attacks an enhancement bonus. A +3 enhancement bonus lets you overcome DR cold iron/silver. A +4 lets you overcome adamantine. A +5 lets you overcome aligned DR.

EDIT: Unless there's some reason an amulet of mighty fists won't convey the same DR-overcoming ability a manufactured weapon enhancement bonus does.

It's expensive but at your level if form of the dragon is your main offense. you should get an amulet of mighty fists to help bypass damage reduction. Get the highest +x you can afford.

Heart of the metal, aspu's shining scales are 2 spells that should cover you for metals. Amulet of mighty fist can cover the samethings + alignment at +5.

Amulet of Mighty Fists: Does this allow a creature's natural attacks to bypass damage reduction if the enhancement bonus is high enough (as noted on page 562)?

Yes. If the amulet grants at least a +3 enhancement bonus it allows a creature's natural attacks to bypass cold iron and silver damage reduction. If it is +4, it allows them to bypass adamantine damage reduction (although not hardness), and if it is +5, it allows them to bypass alignment-based damage reduction.

Thanks! I will be sure to check all of this out!
