Polymorph Question.

Pretty simple question, though with polymorph info all over I became unsure of the answer!

Would a Pairaka Div retain its flight while using Change Shape to appear as a human because the flight isn't dependent on its natural form? (at least as far as I can tell)

Pairaka Div

The line of text that trips me up is

Polymorph subschool wrote:
While under the effects of a polymorph spell, you lose all extraordinary and supernatural abilities that depend on your original form (such as keen senses, scent, and darkvision), as well as any natural attacks and movement types possessed by your original form.

Do you lose all movement types? or just NATURAL movement types?

As far as I can tell, this Div doesn't use wings.

Thanks in advance!

Looks like it loses flight. It calls out two sets of things lost:

1) all extraordinary and supernatural abilities that depend on your original form (such as keen senses, scent, and darkvision)

2) any natural attacks and movement types possessed by your original form.

So it's (Natural attacks) and Movement types and not Natural (attack and movement types)?

I could understand losing flight on account of wings no longer being present in your new form, but I would think supernatural flight would be separate.

Edit: Perhaps it will be something I just rule differently in my games considering "While most of these should be obvious, the GM is the final arbiter of what abilities depend on form and are lost when a new form is assumed"

Polymorph doesn't seem to distinguish very much between supernatural and winged flight. If you turn into a creature with supernatural flight, you'll gain that too.

Also, the Bestiary rarely lists whether a creature's fly speed is due to wings, wings and magic, or magic alone. You might wonder if a typical dragon's wings are really sufficient to lift the heavy beast off the ground...

Which is also strange considering there are at least a few rules requiring the distinction!

I know, it's weird :)

We don't know for sure that the lack of wings makes the flight non-natural. Especially considering we don't see a Fly (Ex) or Fly (Su) ability. So I'd say it has natural wingless flight.
