Strong Jaw mechanics

Rules Questions

Can Strong Jaw be applied to a Giant Squid's 'Constriction' damage? Or does it have to applied to something like 'Tentacles' or 'Bite'?

Strong Jaw applies to all of the creature's Natural Attacks.

Constrict is based off the type of Attack that grabbed the victim.

So Strong Jaw effectively increases Constrict damage, even if it doesn't explicitly explain that.

I believe strong jaw can only be applied to a single type of attack."Laying a hand upon an allied creature’s jaw, claws, tentacles, or other natural weapons, you enhance the power of that creature’s natural attacks"

The other thing is the giant squids tentacle is a secondary attack (O.5x) but its constrict does 1.5x damage.

Regardless of the wording, strong jaw Targets creature touched.

So it improves all weapons possessed.

A GM can change that to suit their taste, but it's a 4th level spell. They start to do crazy things.

Nefreet is correct. Strongjaw applies to ALL of a creature's natural attacks, and indirectly boosts constriction damage as well.

Ahhh ok thanks. I was confused with the wording. Thanks Nefreet.
