RPG Superstar 2015 Top 8

I'll also agree with someone else who noted -- I understand SuperTumbler's desire to stick with 2e since he is already running 2e games, but 3e does have an SRD available online that makes it easier for folks without the resources to make a character. There's a spreadsheet floating around on the internet that you can also use to generate 3e characters.

I'm fine either way (and personally have way more sourcebooks for 2e), but just wanted to point it out.

I like the idea that this isn't the team on the front page of the paper. These are things that people don't hear about. I'm good with a morally grey world, I'm also good with something a little more four color.

I'm right there with you.

GM_Panic, if SuperTumbler is leaning street-level, it may be a lower PL, like 7 or 8. Thunderbolts could potentially be higher though. I think he's probably not going to declare until final details are hammered out.

Cool thanks I like lower powered games in MM, they More Hell Boy that Super Boy

Grand Lodge

Yeah I can see 7 or 8 to Street level while 10 would be thunderbolts/X-force/outsiders level

Depending on whether purchasing is the as written or altered can determine how cool are powers/feats/skills will be

I did have a character for a Marvel RPG before. It's been like ten years so I am a bit hazy on the details they'll come back to me. The character is a former AIM scientist who after discovering he had cancer stole a symbiote they had acquired from the Life Foundation who were keeping it as a control subject.

Sadly the GM just hand waved the other PCs into figuring out he was a symbiote and he got a nice shiny explosive character without so much as a roll... and trust me when the Symbiote Bonded former AIM scientist is looking in horror at the guys bank rolling your group something is sketchy. I didn't stay in that game for much longer... especially since the company bank rolling things forced my character into slave labor R&D work and created a gun that gave people cancer, which obviously struck a personal cord with him. To be clear, this was not a villains game. My PC used the shape shifting bit to appear as different heroes to help people and hide his existence.

He's relatively new and cautious so not as powerful as the more established symbiotes. Sadly I no longer have the character picture I photo shopped for him.
