So, to my knowledge I've only ever played one PFS character (just a week ago), but when I go to the "Create a Character" page it lists two characters with little-to-no information beyond -1 and -2. One of them says "(CORE)" beside it as well. I'm not sure if I should be deleting one of these to keep my character #s consistent for the future, or if I should just call my next character -3? Any tips?

if you do that it will flag someone else's character as not core.
Mind you, i think at this point most core characters flag as not core so thats not a big deal.

I'd leave the -2 entry alone for now, and simply concentrate on getting things right for your -1 character. That 751 is what happens when somebody starts reporting a game, and the character hasn't been registered; the system tacks a semi-random number onto the end of your username to get a (hopefully unique) placeholder. It will go away when a real character name gets created/reported.
My guess would be that somebody was trying to report a game for a different player's -2 character, and accidentally typed your PFS ID (123456-2, say, instead of 123546-2).
I don't actually see any games reported for your character(s), so if that is what happened the person who made the mistake spotted it and corrected it, and you're just seeing a side effect. Don't delete the -2 entry, or you'll never be able to create a -2 character; when you have decided what your -2 is going to be you should be able to just use it as if you'd created it yourself.
You wouldn't be deleting somebody else's character unless somehow two people are trying to use the same ID. But it doesn't look as though that is the case here; as I said, there don't seem to be any games reported for your character (not even the game that you played a week ago ...), and I'd expect to see several games reported for a -1 character before the player decides it's time to create a -2.

Oh, so you're doing a pair of characters? Awesome. Bret and I do that all the time. One thing that I find helps is if we each bring two different things to help balance out a PFS table. So you can have a melee specialist and a more castery type, or someone with great skills and with a reach cleric. Fitting more than one niche means that you both bring things that will help your team survive!
And who knows? Maybe your girlfriend will do what I did, and become so hooked on the whole thing that she starts GMing and organizing games for others.
Here's hoping that your Monday game goes great!

It’s harder to do than it sounds. I’ve got about 200 played and about 20 errors I can’t fix. I’ve clicked on “report error” to no avail and the list is overwhelming I guess. Mostly “I got only 1 prestige but the reported game says 2”, a couple of “supposed to be this char not that char”, and 1 or 2 other issues. Anyone with access willing to fix, ill buy dinner at GenCon!

I have about a 10% reporting error as well.
One of the most annoying instances was with my 5th Level CORE GM Blob. I sat him down to his first CORE game as a player and that game wasn't reported as CORE.
I haven't played him since and he's still registered as no longer being CORE.
I think to fix that you will need to contact forum support.

I don't know if i'm going to press people on how much homework they do for a game, but i'm definitely not putting pressure on the new guy to change an entire system or sub culture.
