I read a thread awhile ago with some clarification on the archaist ability dimensional slide. Specifically that it was designed to be a poor mans dimension door - not like the conjurer ability "shift".
I guess what I am looking for is for the community feedback on dimensional slide and if I read that correctly or if I was hallucinating and made it all up. Does dimensional slide work similar to dimension door - specifically that you can take people with you?
Any help on clarifying this would be great! Thanks!

Magic does what it says it does, no more, no less.
- The teleportation subschool ability "Shift" specifically mentions taking a familiar with you.
- The standard conjuration school ability "Dimensional Steps" specifically allows you to take others with you as long as you have the spare movement capacity.
- The arcanist arcane exploit "Dimensional Slide" never mentions anybody besides the arcanist herself. Hence no other beings are affects or transported. Although it is easy to overlook familiars that the player doesn't tend to actively use in combat.

The arcanist can expend 1 point from her arcane reservoir to create a dimensional crack that she can step through to reach another location. This ability is used as part of a move action or withdraw action, allowing her to move up to 10 feet per arcanist level to any location she can see. This counts as 5 feet of movement. She can only use this ability once per round. She does not provoke attacks of opportunity when moving in this way, but any other movement she attempts as part of her move action provokes as normal.
By the wording, you could probably take someone if you carried them. You just step through the crack with them in your arms/on your shoulder/whatever.
